One person has been reported dead with another hospitalized as rival cult groups clashed at Ekiugbo community in Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The latest clash is between Aro-bagga and Eiye confraternities, MediaNG can report.
Details as to the cause of the bloody clash were not clear at the time of this report.
When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report in a telephone chat with our correspondent in Warri on Sunday.
According to the Police image maker, the incident occurred on Friday, November 13.
She said, “One person died. The other has been rushed to the hospital. It is a cult clash. “
