FACEBOOK is down right now with users reporting issues with the login feature as well as images and pictures not loading properly.
Facebook down reports are surging in right now with users hit with login problems and issues with images not loading.
Down Detector has received a surge of Facebook down reports today with users in the US, UK and Europe affected.
Out of those affected some 39 per cent of Facebook fans are experiencing login issues while 33 per cent are having pictures issues.
Facebook users have also taken to rival social networking service Twitter to report issues with the service.
One tweeted: “Instagram and Facebook are down again”.
Another posted: “Instagram and Facebook are both down”.
One added: “I think facebook, Facebook messenger and Instagram are down.”
And another wrote: “What happened ??? #facebookdown”.
According to Express.co.uk,
The asked the social networking giant whether they could confirm if Facebook is down right now and if there was an ETA for a fix.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, a Facebook spokesperson said: “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble uploading images, videos and other files on our apps.
“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible”.
At the time of writing, Down Detector UK has registered a peak of almost 1,300 Facebook down reports.
While downdetector.com has registered a peak of more than 4,000 reports of Facebook down.
Other Facebook owned social networks have also been hit by issues today.
Both Instagram and WhatsApp are also experiencing issues, with Down Detector registering a surge of Instagram down and WhatsApp down reports.
Facebook Messenger users have also reported problems with the service.
Facebook is the most popular social network in the work, with some 2.37billion people using the service each month.
These numbers were revealed in April and marked an increase of 55million on the previous quarter.
